Prilentin

The capital of Greater Prilentin, and the point from which the entire country was born, Prilentin is a sight to behold. Populated mostly by high elves, Prilentin stands at the pinnacle of luxury. The economy is flourishing, letting practically every citizen live in affluent wealth.

Everything from the buildings to the hairstyles are lined with gold and silver. This, combined with the white marble buildings, can make the city blindingly bright on some days.

The fashion of Prilentin’s citizens is elaborate and often ridiculous, resembling the fashion of capital citizens from The Hunger Games. You’d sooner observe a murder within Prilentin than you’d observe someone wearing the same outfit twice.

This culture of high society is in stark contrast with the rest of Greater Prilentin. The rest of the country – mostly wood elves with, but other races of elves are prevalent too – live quiet peaceful lives in small, close-knit, countryside villages.

The country reached this level of wealth through their technological and magical advancement. Prilentin has pioneered many of the largest inventions in the past century, such as the flying carpet or the light bulb. Most of their countries income comes from the profits these inventions have generated.

Notable locations:

The Realm Guardians Guild

The single largest guild in all the realms by any metric. As the name suggests, this guild accepts quests from across the 9 realms, though the VAST majority of their quests come from the material plane and fey wilds. This also lets them recruit adventurers from all 9 realms. All these factors and more culminate to make it so the realm guardians have the most:

  • Members
  • Recourses
  • Influence
  • Quests
  • Magical Artifacts
  • Diversity
  • Benefits for members, as The Realm Guardians are well known and respected across the realms, many countries give them special privileges/rights/access.

Of any guild. Because of this, they are incredibly hard to get into. They hold entrance exams only once a year, and applicants from all 9 realms enter. Around 5,000,000 applicants enter every year. Of those 5 million, only 1 in 10,000 actually reaches the main exam. and of those sum 500 remaining, only 2% pass.

If someone fails, they are allowed to retake the exam next year as many times as they want, this is why the number of applicants is so high.

On average, a rookie (someone who is taking the exam for the first time) passes once every 4 years. Currently, the realm guardians have around 2000 members.
