The home of the Githyanki, this country is known for it’s barren red sand deserts, and large terracotta rock formations. The land is not fit for farming, and barely even fit for surviving. The Gith used to survive through pillaging the nearby tribes for food and resources. However, in more modern times, the Gith make most of their money as mercinaries for other nations. Though their days of pillaging have not been forgotten, and they still have poor relationships with Zou, Kapaland and Shasuk (also Greater Prilentin but who doesn’t). They also have a poor relationship with Lupentra, as they certainly do not respect the desert and have regularly ventured into the desert to hunt the wildlife.
The Culture of Tu’Narath is one that values strength above all else. The Gith are a proud warrior people, who believe that only the strongest of soldiers on the battlefield get a place in their equivalent of heaven. The Githyanki were originally created by illithids or “mind flayers” as slaves, but rebelled around the time that the great war ended, and managed to escape.
Once ever 5 years they host a gladitorial combat known as GOLTHRAK, where the winner is guaranteed a place in the afterlife, and granted an audience with their cheiftan. Anyone from any race is welcome to participate in this, as if they die who cares, and if they win then they’ve more than earned the Githyanki’s respect. There are very few non-gith that the Gith respect, all of which are great warriors such as Mimir [one of the Yorkeluns]
The reason their country has that odd thin stretch of land is that that land was taken by the gith in an old war against Godak, and the gith have kept it ever since as Shasuk had nowhere near enough strength or resources to take it back.
The tower in the bottom left corner is a dungeon, belonging to a powerful archwizard. It is a wizard tower, with 5 floors of monsters, ghouls and creeps to protect the legendary magical item at the top.
